New York City is in the midst of a rapidly changing healthcare environment. As providers are charged with doing more, and as healthcare partner organizations focus on quality and efficiency, value based payment and other sustainable payment models are becoming increasingly important. Value based payment (VBP) is a broad term encompassing several different payment methodologies that incentivize providers to deliver more value by encouraging them to contain costs, to improve the quality or outcomes of their care, or (ideally) both.
The “Getting Ready for Value Based Payment: Strategy and Information Management” webinar presented by: Meaghan Baier, Boris Vilgorin and Margot Hughes-Lopez live on March 28, 2018, aims to equip participants with a baseline understanding of the 1) landscape of Value Based Payment , 2) use of essential tools and methods, and 3) creating and managing effective workflows.
